Little Artist Auction & Fundraiser
We hosted the Deutsche Bank South Africa Foundation, in collaboration with Johannesburg Stock Exchange, for the Little Artists Exhibition and Auction.
Little Artist is a Social Investment project that provides youth, from poor inner city communities, with free art tuition to develop creative and life skills.
Students have the unique opportunity to exhibit their art for auction at the JSE. Through this initiative both the youth artists and the project benefit from funds raised through art sale.
Enabling youth artists to exhibit their work to bankers is a unique opportunity. Having the event hosted at the centre of commerce, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and enabling young people to auction their art, personally sent a strong message.
Art is a viable career and business.
Cultivating ambition among youth artists, especially township based and inner city youth.
